My friend Lora Beth and I have been wanting to hike West Glacier trail for a while now so we decided to go on April 12th and invite friends. We all hiked to the hut which was about a mile and a half in. Then half of us went back. Lora beth, Erin and I hiked down a lower trial that was just off of west glacier trail. Erin deiced to head back and on her way back she noticed we had went off the trail and she texted us. We decided to hike back up and continue toward the glacier. We ran out of time about a half hour before the end of West Glacier trial. It was so beautiful and we can tell it's worth finishing!! We are going to hike it again!:)
